If you have an on-campus housing assignment, you will be able to move in to your assigned room on Friday, August 21 prior to the start of orientation. Please note, if your roommate is not a member of the Honors College, he or she cannot move in early. Detailed itineraries for August 21 and 22 will be available in July.
Honors College Orientation is a great opportunity for you to meet your peers, familiarize yourself with the Towson University campus and the Honors College, meet honors faculty and staff, participate in fun team-building activities, friendly competitions, and lots of opportunities to spend time with incoming and current honors students.
An "Honors College Read" will be part of your honors orientation experience at Towson University. This year's selection is Daniel James Brown’s 'The Boys in the Boat'. We ask that you read this book prior to orientation so that you can fully participate in the interactive group discussions that will be facilitated by a member of the TU faculty whose research and expertise is in an area related to sports, history and politics.
Beginning June 15, we will only send reminders and important information to your TU email account. We also recommend that you stay connected to the Honors College via social media (Facebook group for incoming Honors students,Twitter and Instagram especially).
In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 410-704-4677 or at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please submit this form before June 15, 2015. We look forward to seeing you in August!
