RVLA After-School Program Registration Form
Thank you for your interest in the Rainier Valley Leadership Academy After-School Program.

This form is used to register scholars in grades K-12 for RVLA after-school programming. The information collected helps RVLA plan programs, maintain accurate family records, support scholar health and safety, and meet reporting requirements connected to the Best Starts for Kids grant.

Please complete one form for each scholar you are registering. Submitting this form does not guarantee placement in every listed program.In the coming weeks and moths there will be in person sign ups during school hours and information sent home before sign ups begin. Families will receive confirmation after registration has been reviewed.

Early Release Wednesday (2 times a month) : 1 PM - 5 PM

Semester One Programs Sept - Jan

Kinara Park Kids
Kinara Park Kids helps scholars build confidence, leadership, and cultural awareness through activities centered on the seven principles of Kwanzaa. Scholars will participate in engaging lessons that encourage responsibility, teamwork, creativity, and a strong sense of community.

Coyote Central
Coyote Central gives scholars opportunities to explore hands-on creative projects while learning from experienced teaching artists. The program encourages curiosity, self-expression, problem-solving, and confidence through art, design, and skill-building activities.

Urban League Braiding Program
The Urban League Braiding Program introduces scholars to foundational hair-braiding techniques, hair care, sanitation, and professional practices. Scholars will strengthen their creativity and confidence while also learning about entrepreneurship and career opportunities in the beauty industry.

Painter Pals
Painter Pals provides scholars with a supportive space to explore painting, color, and other forms of visual art. Through guided projects, scholars will develop artistic skills, express themselves creatively, and build confidence in their abilities.

Acts on Stage
Acts on Stage introduces scholars to theater, acting, storytelling, and performance in an encouraging environment. Scholars will build communication, teamwork, confidence, and self-expression while learning how to bring stories and characters to life.
