​​WE ARE EXPANDING TO NEW CITIES - The difficulties suffered by our small businesses including our restaurants has made our mission even more critical. This our 8th year we are excited to expand to new cities : Including Atlanta, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Miami, LA, more cities to be announced.

OFFERINGS INCLUDE: Offerings - Discounted meals at participating restaurants/bars/bakeries/food trucks, chef-hosted dinners, panel discussions, cooking classes, Festival ( may be held virtually this year) and more

NYC African restaurant Week (NYARW) (Oct 4th – 18th, 2020) is an opportunity to help boost the local economy, come together to celebrate the food and culture of the African Diaspora and support the various local restaurants/businesses working within this beautiful space. Make a difference with every sip and bite.
Our Mission includes the below: 1. Boosting the local economy by increasing awareness for African/African-inspired cuisine, restaurants, chefs and businesses.2. Empower and support the various culinary professionals in the African/Diaspora food space. 3.Foster communal and cultural ties 4. Support economic development and locally owned food businesses 5. Increase availability of and access to healthy food in our neighborhoods and communities
