Partner School Application for Rising Leaders
Thank you for your interest in partnering with Rising Leaders, Inc. (a.k.a. "Rising Leaders" or “RLI”)!

Rising Leaders is a non-profit organization that provides low-income or otherwise disadvantaged middle school students with high-quality mentorship and leadership development training. The organization pairs middle school students with young professionals (such as lawyers, doctors, engineers, and artists) for long-term mentorship and guidance through professional development workshops. The workshops happen one Saturday morning every month and are held on-site at the partner school location. At least one staff member from the partner school is expected to attend the workshops and serve as a point person for Rising Leaders.

If you are interested in and committed to bringing Rising Leaders to your school, please fill out and submit this application.

Partnering with Rising Leaders will likely require the school to host one workshop per month on a Saturday or Sunday from 9:30AM TO 1:00PM. Consistency of the workshops is very important for our program, and research indicates that inconsistent mentorship can be damaging for students. How confident are you that your school can host these workshops once a month for the duration of the 2 year program? Please note, there are no workshops over the summers. *
Would the school be able to provide spaces for 30-50 people to participate in workshop activities, including large sessions with everyone and smaller breakout sessions in individual classrooms? *
Is the school able to be open on one Saturday or Sunday a month and provide a staff member point person for the workshops? *
Does the school have a background check process in place for the mentors provided by Rising Leaders? If so, please briefly describe that process. *
