GDPR is one of the most important changes facing our industry today as it is set to radically change the way events collect, process and protect the personal information of people in the EU.

But with just over three months to go until the deadline, how prepared is the events industry for GDPR? And what steps have event planners already taken in preparation for the new requirements?

We would like to invite you to take part in a short multiple-choice survey, which will look at the current state of ‘GDPR readiness’ in our industry. The survey looks at where event planners currently stand in terms of their understanding of the new legislation and what steps they’re taking to get ready for the May 2018 deadline.

We hope the results (which will be published at the upcoming Confex 2018 show in London this month) will give people a clearer insight of where they stand in terms of their own ‘readiness’ – as well as find out more on the kind of challenges and opportunities GDPR will bring to their organisations in the long-run.
