Cancellation by Student: We do not offer refunds on any training or instruction course if you change your mind or are unable to attend. If you cancel your registration in advance of the scheduled course, you will be issued class credit that can be applied toward a future training course. To cancel your registration and receive a class credit, an e-mail must be sent to karen@carolinaselfprotection.com. Your registration in a course may be transferred to another person if that person meets all training prerequisites and is otherwise qualified to take the course, provided you give us at least 2 days prior notice by e-mail with the name, e-mail address and phone number for your substitute. If you give no notice and do not attend a course you were registered for, no refunds or class credits will be issued.

Cancellation by Carolina Self Protection: Some courses require a minimum number of participants, as noted in course descriptions. If you register for a course with a required minimum and the minimum number of participants have not registered by the end of the day which is 2 days prior to the course, Carolina Self Protection reserves the right to cancel the course and refund your registration fee. There may also be occasions such as inclement weather or unplanned circumstances such as illness is a factor in course cancellation or rescheduling. In such cases, you will receive an e-mail and phone call notifying you of the cancellation or rescheduling of the course. If you are unable to attend the course on the rescheduled date, we will refund your registration fee upon written request by e-mail received at least 2 days prior to the rescheduled course date.

Registration Deadlines: Students have 12 months from the date of purchase to register for classes. If registration is not submitted within 12 months of class purchase, payment will be forfeited by student and no refunds will be offered.
