This retreat offers both insight and practice:

-Teachings on the 12 Links of Interdependence(Wheel of Life)

- Charya dance of Interdependent origination

- Meditation on breaking the cycle of Ignorance and craving

- Contemplation on the five great elements within and around us

Our Teachers:

Do Tulku Rinpoche is the resident Lama and spiritual guide of the "Arya Taras Net Dharma Center", a Buddhist center in Germany. When he was 17 he was recognized by His Holiness Sakya Trizin as the reincarnation of V. Raktrul Rinpoche (17th century), a master of Do Teng Monastery in eastern Tibet. Do Tulku Rinpoche has a very fresh and modern approach to the teachings of the Buddha, he is faithful to what has been handed down to him by his main teacher Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. Do Tulku Rinpoche is a Traditional Scholar and Reviewer at Khyentse Vision Project; and is appreciated for his learned, interactive and often unconventional & humorous way of presenting Buddhist teachings.

Punya Sagara was born and raised in Kathmandu and first encountered the Dharma at 16, taking refuge with Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche. She has practiced under many eminent teachers, including Venerable Rana Rinpoche, Karma Thinley Rinpoche, Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, and Chobgye Trichen Rinpoche. She studied Charya Nritya from her college days, receiving transmissions from Ratna Kaaji Gurujyu and Ratna Gurujyu. For over 20 years she has taught Charya in Kathmandu and abroad. Since 2018, with support from Khyentse Foundation, she has led international workshops. For her, Charya is meditation in action—an integration of Dharma and art.
