The 2020 OELMA Conference theme is “2020 Vision: Focus on the Future.” We invite you to join our program of authors, illustrators, and presenters to demonstrate how school libraries will continue to be the leaders by bringing new and vibrant ideas, processes and technology into our schools.  We are currently accepting presentation proposals for 45 minute concurrent sessions for Thursday, October 1st and Friday, October 2nd, 2020.  Your participation at the 2020 OELMA conference is vital to our organization and profession.    

Proposal submissions are due March 1st, 2020.  Requests received after March 1st will only be considered as space permits. All proposals will be reviewed by the Programming Committee and scored based on the rubric supplied.  Every presentation must support at least one Future Ready or AASL strand as listed in the 2020 Program Strands Guide.  Adherence to the strand, as well as interest to educators, school library/media personnel, and technology staff will be considered.  Presenters will be notified by May 1st, 2020 regarding acceptance.  Presenters will be expected to submit links to presentations or support materials for attendees by August 15th, 2020 for inclusion in the conference program.

The primary presenter of each accepted session will receive a discounted registration rate for full conference.
