The Solstice Team wants to help you bring your ideas to life!
Please fill out this application if you plan on using the Summer Solstice Workshop and its resources to create your own floats, costumes, masks, puppets, etc. for the Solstice Parade & Festival. Solstice Parade Participation is included.
Payment is required upon completion of the form:
- Teen (12-17) Workshop/Parade - $30
- Adult Workshop/Parade - $50
Completing the application will allow us to allocate any material resources, staff, and volunteers available to you and your ensemble. Plus, the sooner you apply, the sooner we can get the word out about your ensemble via our marketing channels!

2024 THEME: FLIGHTS OF FANCY!
We encourage you to design and create a float and ensemble from ideas that align with this theme at the Summer Solstice WORKSHOP located at 631 Garden Street.

Wednesday - Friday: 3pm - 8pm
Saturday & Sunday: 12pm - 6pm
CELEBRATION DATES:
FESTIVAL: FRIDAY, JUNE 21 - SUNDAY, JUNE 23, 2023 at Alameda Park.

- Saturday, 6/22, 12pm - 8pm
- Sunday, 6/23, 12pm - 6pm
PARADE: SATURDAY, JUNE 22, 2024. Parade begins at noon at Santa Barbara & Ortega Streets in Santa Barbara, CA.
