Thank you for your interest in joining Marin Catholic's Cheer Team for the 2024 - 2025 Season!
This year, Marin Catholic will be offering three team options for students interested in cheerleading.
Competition Team
Our competition team is a three season commitment (Summer/Fall/Winter) to participate in regional and national competitions in addition to sideline cheer at the fall football games. The commitment will be from summer through the end of the winter season (February 2025). While competition team assignments won’t be made until August, the competition season begins with sideline practices on July 8. Competitions will be held beginning in November and conclude in February at the USA Spirit Nationals competition in Anaheim, CA. All competition members will also participate on one of the sideline teams and are required to attend summer camp scheduled for July 29-August 3 (Freshman are unable to attend and are excused from this requirement) and the competition choreography workshop scheduled for August 10-12.
Varsity Sideline TeamThis will be a single season in the Fall (plus summer practices) for sideline cheer at the Varsity Football games only. This is ideal for students who are committed to a winter sport and/or other winter activity and will be unable to attend winter competitions. The commitment will be from July 8 through the end of the full football season including the playoffs and championship games (December 2024).
JV Sideline Team
This will be a single season in the Fall (plus summer practices) for sideline cheer at the in-county JV Football games only. This is ideal for students who are committed to a winter sport and/or other winter activity and will be unable to attend winter competitions. The commitment will be from July 8 through the end of the regular football season (November 2024).
