Readercon general-interest program item suggestion page
This form is for suggesting a general-interest program item for Readercon. Our suggestion cycle runs January 1 through December 31. Suggestions received by December 31, 2017 will be considered for Readercon 29 in July 2018.

Everyone is welcome to submit ideas here, regardless of whether they have been Readercon program participants in the past or hope to be on the program in the future. Please submit one idea at a time; once you've clicked the submit button, you can reload the page to submit another idea.

If your idea leads in some fashion to a Readercon program item, we will choose the panelists we think are best suited for it. For example, if you propose a panel on habitable planets around nearby stars, we will populate the panel with experienced astronomers and others who have done extensive research in the field. If you just want to see your idea become a program item and would be happy to enjoy it from the audience, you're in the right place! Please fill out the form below.

If you would be very very sad to see the item you're suggesting happen without your direct involvement, AND you have been invited to be a Readercon program participant, you should restructure it as a proposal for a solo talk, performance, discussion group, or special-interest panel and submit it at http://www.readercon.org/program/proposal.htm. That's also the place to request a slot for a group reading.

If you would like to apply to be a Readercon program participant or suggest someone for us to invite, please use the form at http://www.readercon.org/program/application.htm.

If you have any difficulty with this form or any questions about Readercon's program, please email program@readercon.org.

What's your idea, link, or suggestion? *
Your suggestion can be anything from a couple of words (the shortest we've ever received was just the word "xenogamy", but that was enough to get us thinking) to a full-fledged Readercon-style program item description complete with pithy title. We also welcome links to interesting blog posts and news articles. If you submit a link, please describe it and tell us what interested you about it.
