How Did Flawless Change Your Life?
If you knew Flawless Sabrina/Jack Doroshow, you know that she cared far more about supporting the work and dreams of other people (especially younger, queer ones) than being praised for her own incredible achievements. Indeed, in many ways her greatest accomplishment -- and certainly her legacy -- is one of mentorship. As we mourn and celebrate Flawless, Slate's Outward LGBTQ section would like to publish a collection of statements demonstrating the profound impact she had on so many of us. Whether it was a single deskside meeting or years of close collaboration, evenings spent on the phone or a solitary wag of her finger, we'd like to hear about how Jack pushed you to do your work, pursue your goals, or simply be yourself. Long live The Queen.
