GCSC Preschool Enrollment 26-27
The Deer Meadow and Ridpath Preschool programs are Level 4 Certified and dedicated to delivering high-quality early education that focuses on fostering intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development.  We look forward to partnering with you in your child's educational journey!  

*Priority enrollment for GCSC staff members and currently enrolled preschoolers is January 21st - 31st. Open enrollment begins February 1, 2026 until spots are filled. 

PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS

The Deer Meadow Preschool offers three distinct programs in order to meet the continuum of student needs. 
  • The Deer Meadow Developmental Preschool Program serves 3-4 year old children who are identified with disabilities as described in Article 7 of Special Education Law for all of Greencastle Community School Corporation Schools. The length and number of school days is determined by the Case Conference Committee when developing the students Individualized Education Plan.  School transportation is available for students in this program. Parents of students who are qualified for this program, do NOT need to complete this enrollment form. There is NO FEE for this program.  If you have questions about your child's status in this program you can call the school office at 765-653-3518.
  • The Deer Meadow Community Preschool Program serves students who are 3-4 years old prior to August 1st. We offer multiple full and half day preschool classes. Monthly tuition varies by program, and is listed below. AM classes are from 8:00 -10:30 AM and PM classes are from 12:00 - 2:30 PM.  Transportation is not provided for this program.
                              Five Day a Week 1/2 Day Preschool: $180 monthly tuition 
                              Full Day Five Day: $320 monthly tuition

The Ridpath Preschool will be offering one preschool program.
  • The Ridpath Community Preschool Program  serves students who are 3-4 years old prior to August 1st. We offer multiple full and half day preschool classes. Monthly tuition varies by program, and is listed below. AM classes are from 8:00 -10:30 AM and PM classes are from 12:00 - 2:30 PM.  Transportation is not provided for this program.
                              Five Day a Week 1/2 Day Preschool: $180 monthly tuition 
                              Full Day Five Day: $320 monthly tuition

ENROLLMENT 
  • This form is for enrollment at Deer Meadow or Ridpath Preschool Programs for the 2026-2027 school year. 
  • If your child is in the developmental preschool program you do NOT have to fill out this form. 
  • Availability is limited, and filling out this form does not ensure a place in the program. 
  • Enrollment forms will be reviewed and considered in the order they are received. 
  • For the Deer Meadow Community Preschool Program, Deer Meadow Community Preschool Peer Program, and Ridpath Community Preschool program we will only accept children who are toilet trained and are at a stage of growth and development, which allows them to benefit from the program, and for whose developmental level the program is staffed and equipped to provide care. We will not admit or maintain any child whose needs we cannot meet. We will not admit or maintain any child whose behavior poses a threat to themselves, other children, and/or staff. We will not discriminate on the basis of race, religion or gender. 
  • After you complete this form please drop off a $50 deposit to either Deer Meadow or Ridpath school's office. Checks and money orders can be made payable to the GCSC Preschool and should include your child's name in the memo section. 
  • Your enrollment request will not be considered complete until we have your deposit. 
  • School administrators will be in touch about the status of your enrollment.  If not selected, you will be given the option to keep your child's name on our waitlist and you will be notified if and when a spot becomes available.
  • The deposit of students who are selected will be deposited and become non-refundable, while the deposit of those who are not selected will be refunded.  
  • Enrollment in the Deer Meadow Preschool Peer Program will not be opened until all Community Preschool Spots are full.
