What do you teach?  *
Have your students used ChatGPT or other AI tools on their own (that is, not as part of a required assignment)? If so, how have you seen them using it?  *
Have you caught students cheating with ChatGPT or other AI tools by trying to pass off that work as their own? If so, how did you determine they used AI and how did you respond?
Have you incorporated AI into your teaching, either by having conversations about it in class or blending it into an assignment? If so, describe what you did.
Do any of the following apply to your teaching plans starting in the fall? Check all that apply.
If you chose any of the above options, please elaborate on how you plan to change your teaching, or why you do not think you need to make any changes.
Does your department, school or university have a strategy in place for helping instructors handle AI in the classroom, such as course redesign workshops, broader discussions of how AI will reshape the curriculum or something else? Either way, what kind of guidance and deliberation do you want from your college or discipline?
