Hello fellow UAs in recovery. Thank you for sharing your Experience Strength and Hope! In addition to the words you would like to share, we are also collecting additional information to contextualize the share. No personal information will be shown on the website or in published literature
(if your share is incorporated into literature in the future). Please keep your writing as anonymous as possible and follow the guidelines below:
- Speak only of your own, personal, Experience, Strength and Hope on your recovery from Underearning and Underbeing.
- Write in the first person singular - though we have much in common, it is your personal Experience, Strength and Hope (not "we" generalizations) that this space has been created for.
- Do not mention names - this includes member names, group names, or anyone else's name.
- Keep the focus of your share on the UA program and your recovery from Underearning and Underbeing - if you have benefitted from another 12 step, self-help, coaching... program, awesome! However, please do not mention it by name.
- Please keep the language G-rated. If you believe a G rating would detract from the honesty of your share, please be honest when selecting the appropriate rating in the form below.
- Shares should be between 150 and 400 words (all word processing applications allow you to keep track of your word count).
- Please do your best to edit for readability as we will not be editing the submissions
- Please note that none of the additional information we collect will be visible. It is solely for the purpose of helping to create searchable links (ie someone looking for writing from someone who is working the 5th step or who has a similar number of years in the program). We also ask you to self rate so that people who are triggered by things, that may be innocuous to some, can make conscious choices about what to read and avoid.
Any contents that promote conflict or disunity will not be shared publicly.
