K-12 Crowdsourced Expert Resources
As a second-round response to the COVID-19 novel coronavirus, AECT is attempting to generate a crowdsourced list of expert resources (e.g., articles, posts, videos, documents, slides) and recommendations for best practices for remote teaching and the transition to online course delivery. However, we are planning to focus on a small number of topics. Our goal is to then evaluate these resources into a short targeted list — a list we can share and recommend to teachers, support staff, and district personnel with commentary.
We are purposefully attempting to avoid an exhaustive list of resources. We do not want to overwhelm novice online teachers. Instead, we are leveraging our members' expertise and knowledge of best practices to provide a robust yet concise index.
Deadline: Tuesday, March 24 at 8:00 am Eastern
1.) Choose one of the topics from the drop-down menu.
2.) In the field provided, enter the publicly available web address for what you consider to be "your best 'best practice' resource" (i.e., the one you recommend to others) for supporting remote teaching and the transition to online course delivery within the category that you've chosen.
3.) Then in the next field provided, enter 2-4 sentences (less than 75 words) as to why this resource is the best. Please comment on the resource's strengths or value. Why would you/do you recommend this resource? How have you used this?
4.) If you're comfortable providing it, please enter your name (or your first name and last initial).
