Teen Reviews**
This is an opportunity to earn community service from home while sharing your opinion on what you've read, watched, or played with others! Your review should be a WELL WRITTEN 250 word critical evaluation of the material, including a one paragraph summary and a one paragraph critique. The summary and critique SHOULD BE WRITTEN BY YOU and SHOULD NOT BE PLAGIARIZED from other sources.

The SUMMARY should include a basic description of the plot and/or characters. The CRITIQUE should include your opinion and recommendation of the material. All materials should be appropriate for teens in grades 6-12. Note: Please keep the length of the summary and the critique approximately equal in length. For example, your review should not be a lengthy summary with a one sentence critique or vice versa.

Reviews will be posted on the Teen Department page of the NBPL's website as well as the library's Facebook account. They will also be printed and collected in a "Teen Reviews" binder that will be kept in the library's YA lounge. One hour of community service will be awarded for each review that meets the requirements stated above. The library will use its discretion when publishing any review and/or awarding community service. Additional information may be requested if needed. *No more than 4 reviews can be submitted per year.*
