The Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health's mission is to close gaps in maternal mental healthcare, with the aim of ensuring all women are screened and diagnosed and receive the treatment they desire and need.  

Though many women have health insurance during their maternal mental health challenges, often insurance can be a significant barrier to care. We believe if our employers/ourselves or the state/federal government are paying for health insurance benefits, then benefits should be available and easy to access.
