So, we're all online?: Readiness for online learning
Thank you for your interest in this survey. This survey is intended for educators who have to shift from face-to-face teaching to teaching online. The data is being collected by the following researchers:
- Jo Tondeur, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium (
- Sarah Howard, University of Wollongong, Australia (
- Fazilat Siddiq, University of South-Eastern Norway, Norway (
- Ronny Scherer, University of Oslo, Norway (
This research project aims to gain understanding of how teachers, university lecturers and others in educational organizations feel they are ready to move to 100% online teaching, given COVID-19.
The first step is to investigate what educators think about their readiness for online teaching. Your responses will be confidential. If you choose to supply your email address for further participation, your responses will be de-identified for any publication or dissemination. You can withdraw your data at any time by contacting Jo Tondeur or Sarah Howard.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. While the study will not necessarily benefit you directly, it will benefit teaching and learning online internationally. Results will be shared with practitioners and researchers across the world to improve how educators are prepared to teach online. You are free to discuss and share this questionnaire with anyone you wish.
If you are happy to participate in the questionnaire, please answer the question at the end of this page. By indicating 'Yes' and participating in the questionnaire, you are giving your consent for your responses to be used in the project.
