Call for Presenters
The International Dyslexia Association Georgia Branch welcomes proposals from education professionals to present current research-based information at the 2020 conference: The Science and Art of Dyslexia. Please thoughtfully consider your proposal and the intended audience for this conference. The IDA focus of structured literacy and knowledge and practice standards for teachers will be of primary interest; however, other topics that are important to educators, students, and families will also be considered. To ensure active participation and to provide ready-to-use resources, we ask that all speakers include in-session practice for participants and/or materials or information they can use right away.

Presenters must register for the conference and pay the full registration fee for the conference.

All submissions are due no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.

Speaker Guidelines *
We welcome all proposals and thank you in advance for focusing your presentation on educational solutions that meet the IDA Knowledge and Practice Standards for Teachers of Reading (KPS) for dyslexic learners, those who struggle with reading and writing, other learning disabilities and/or co-morbid conditions. Your audience may include parents, educators, and other professionals in the field. While we understand partnering with IDA-GA can provide exposure for you or your organization, we ask that all presenters keep in mind that NO marketing or self-promotion should occur during the presentation. Sessions must be educational and informational in content and should not be sales presentations. There are many ways to promote your company, solutions or services following your presentation or as an exhibitor.
