2021 Pumpkin Patch Field Trips- Cal Poly Pomona
After a year with no visitors, the team at AGRIscapes Discovery Farm is now ready to welcome you “Back to the Farm!”

This year our Pumpkin Patch Field Trips will be more exciting and educational than ever with several additions including the Farm Kids Country Fair and educational enhancements in our popular Children's Garden.

Field trips will include the Pumpkin Patch, Kid’s Patch, Hay Wagon Ride, Corn Maze, Children’s Garden, Farm Kids Country Fair and Petting Farm.

Please read the information below carefully as it will explain what we offer, our prices, and answer some of the questions you might have.

2021 Field Trip Packages:

PACKAGE #1 - $8 Per Participant
Includes everything in the Patch: Select One Pumpkin Any Size* From the Field or Kids Patch, Farm Kids Country Fair with Kids Corn Maze & Activities and the Sunflower Field

PACKAGE #2 - $15 per participant
Field Trips Includes: All Patch Activities in Package #1 Plus Petting Farm, Large Corn Maze, Children’s Garden & Hay Wagon Ride

*Excludes specialty pumpkins

PACKAGE #2 PARENT / ADULT - $9 per Adult
Gives an accompanying adult access to all activities in Package #2 except a pumpkin - Only Parents that have been registered by the School/Group may attend a Field Trip.

Additional Pumpkins May Be Purchased

NOTE: 1 Teacher and 1 Aide for each group of up to 25 children will not be charged to participate in activities. If you have special needs children their aide will not be charged to participate. –
DOES NOT INCLUDE A PUMPKIN

It is estimated that completing all of the activities can take between 2 - 2½ hours.

Picnic Area and Tables - Available on a First-Come Basis

Field Trips for 2021 will be conducted the first 3 weeks of October on Wednesdays 9am – 1pm and Thursdays 9am – 3pm. Arrival times every half hour.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES

All Covid precautions will be taken to maintain Health and Safety following the current LA County Health and Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) Guidelines. For more information about CPP's COVID-19 guidelines please click this link - https://www.cpp.edu/safer-return/index.shtml

1A) If your school or group has a COVID -19 Policy that includes a daily health screener, you must provide a copy of the policy, follow its guidance, and have everyone from your school or group complete the daily health screener before arriving for your field trip.

1B) If your school or group does not have a daily health screener, everyone in your group, must follow current L.A. County Health and CPP COVID-19 policies and complete the Cal Poly Pomona guest health screener before arriving for your field trip.

2) Every School/ Group must provide contact information for the Teacher registering, Office Manager/ School Secretary, or Principal.

3) Every School/ Group must provide an attendee list 24 hours prior to your scheduled field trip.

4) Parents/Staff/Faculty agree not to attend or have their child attend a Pumpkin Patch Field Trip if they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, are under quarantine or isolations orders or have been exposed to a person positive for COVID-19 within the past 2 weeks.

5) If a child or adult who attended a Pumpkin Patch Field Trip has a COVID-19 incident within two weeks of visiting Cal Poly Pomona, they will contact CPP by emailing healthscreener@cpp.edu immediately upon knowledge.

6) By submitting this form, you agree to follow Cal Poly Pomona COVID-19 Field Trip requirements listed above and supply the request information.


FAQ's
Can Parents / Chaperones attend a Field Trip?
Parents, Chaperones, and/or Siblings can attend a Field Trip if your School/ Group allows. They will need to be included on the attendance list, complete the school/groups or CPP health screener and fill out the liability waiver.

What is the Field Trip Length?
A typical Pumpkin Patch Field Trip takes between 2 to 2 1/2 hours depending on the activities you choose to enjoy, please plan on additional time if you will take a snack or lunch break. We request that you Arrive 15 Minutes before your start time to allow for check-in.

What About Parking?
Buses and cars will be provided with Free Parking. Directions and information will be provided in advance. Look for signs upon entering AGRIscapes on South Campus Drive ONLY.

Do You Require Liability Waiver Forms?
Yes, all field trip participants including adults must fill out and return the Liability Waiver form that will be provided with your confirmation e-mail. Unfortunately we will not be able to allow those without the completed forms to participate.

What Methods of Payment Do You Accept?
Payment can be made with Cash, Check (Payable to the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation) or Credit Card. Check and Credit Card refunds are not possible.

Is there a Picnic Area & tables?
Yes, and they are available for free on a first-come basis. Sandwiches & Beverages may be ordered in advance by contacting the Farm Store at (909) 869-4906.

Can We Purchase Additional Pumpkins?
Absolutely! Parents and others accompanying field trips often will purchase additional pumpkins from the field.
