Design Your Careers "Creative Writing" Workshop
Creative writing doesn’t have a set definition. Well, not including the one you would find on Google anyway. The art of creative writing gives you, the writer, the ability to create a story based of your own imagination and to put it into words. With this workshop, you will learn about the several components of a story and the fluidity of story construction and will also have your own short story by the end! This will not be like any regular English class. All you need to bring with you is your own imagination and a passion to put your thoughts down on a piece of paper. In this safe environment, your ideas are so valuable and have so much potential to them. Nothing is impossible! Whether it be the craziest science fiction or the most extraordinary memoir, you can do it with our workshop. Come equipped with a bustling story and your own excitement to write about whatever your heart desires.

When: 6th July to 10th July 2020
Time: 3 PM - 4 PM EST (1 hr sessions)  12 PM - 1 PM PST (1 hr sessions)
Ages: 5th to 8th grade students
THERE WILL BE NO CLASS ON July 9th. THIS DAY IS FOR WORK TIME PURPOSES.
