Early Work Seminars Call for Interest Form

We welcome any work using randomized control trials to evaluate the impact of policies related to labor markets in Latin America. The work should have yet to be submitted but could even be at the pre-field stage.

The “Early Workshop Seminars” are dedicated to fostering the generation of scientific evidence in the fight against poverty. The first session will focus on labor markets and be held on July 26 online, at 09 am CLT. It will be hosted by J-PAL LAC co-scientific director Jeanne Lafortune (Pontificia Catholic University of Chile) and J-PAL invited researcher Gabriel Ulyssea (University College London). It will be co-organized by the Millennium Nucleus on the Evolution of Work. The deadline for submission is July 4.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Submit an abstract of your research (300-500 words) outlining the research question and methodology here.

  • Include a brief bio (100-150 words) highlighting your academic background and research interests.

  • Answers will be provided by Jul 11, 2024
