Canoe Island French Camp is committed to providing excellent experiences through its programs to all children of camp age, regardless of race, gender, religion, disability or economic status. Toward this goal, Canoe Island French Camp will secure and manage funds to assist youth in meeting the expense of our camp programs. Financial aid is based on the participant’s situation and desire to learn the French language, culture and history, and participate in this unique island summer camp program. Financial aid is available for only one French Camp session per summer.
In addition to this form, we require a letter of recommendation from one of the camper’s teachers or a youth group leader describing how this child functions in a group environment or other team situations. (Family members or friends are not acceptable.) This letter should be sent directly from the teacher/youth group leader and emailed to
campdirector@canoeisland.org. Note that we require a letter of reference for both first-time and returning campers.
Please note that applying for a scholarship does not reserve a spot in French Camp. Be sure to also register your child online at
https://canoeisland.campbrainregistration.com/.
If you have questions regarding filling out this application, contact the Camp Director at 360.468.2329 or by email at
campdirector@canoeisland.org. Please complete a separate form for each camper requesting aid.
