Please join One Journey for an exhibition featuring renowned Afghan photographer, Omer Khan and Afghan painter, Jahan Ara Rafi.

Omer and his family were evacuated from Afghanistan by the US Military in August 2021. His photography shop in Afghanistan was in the US Embassy where he was physically present when Kabul fell to the Taliban. Escaping with only his camera and photo hard drives, he will share his story and beautiful photographs for the first time in the United States.  

Jahan and her family were on one of the last flights out of Afghanistan as Kabul fell in August 2021. Her livelihood was advocating and for and teaching women in the arts.
