The Centers for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) and Providing Autism Links & Supports, Inc. (PALS, Inc.) invite proposals for presentations at the 2021 28th Annual Statewide CARD Conference, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 15-17, 202. For 2021 CARD will be going virtual. If selected, you will have the option of going live or have a pre-recorded session.

CARD, a Florida statewide program, brings together a wide range of professionals and parents to share information about individuals with autism spectrum disorders and dual sensory impairments. The purpose of the conference is to provide education and information to professionals and families committed to individuals with autism spectrum disorders, dual sensory impairment, and related disabilities. Audiences range from families of newly diagnosed toddlers to leaders in the field of autism research and treatment.

Presentations will need to be 60 minutes in length. Presenters may be asked to repeat their presentation.

REVIEW PROCESS: All proposals will be acknowledged as received. A panel will review proposals. Proposals selected will provide balanced content and broad geographic representation. Submission deadline is July 15th at midnight standard eastern time. For 2021, emphasis will be on advanced topics and working/supporting individuals with challenging behaviors. Due to COVID-19 submission deadline has been extended until July 15, 2020. All accepted submissions will now be notified by August 07. 2020 . Submitting a proposal represents a commitment to present, if accepted. CARD will pay for your registration to enjoy the entire conference, if selected. If you are seeking CEUs, you will be responsible for payment of such.
