Volunteer Interest: 2026 Maryland Science Olympiad State Tournaments
Maryland Science Olympiad is seeking volunteers to assist in its 2026 Div B and C State tournaments. 
Div B - Middle School State Tournament will be held at Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore) on Saturday, April 11th. 
Div C - High School State Tournament will be held at University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) on Saturday April 18th. 

The work will include either test writing—which can be done virtually any time before the tournament—or event supervision—which requires your time on the day of the events (always a Saturday).  

Volunteering for the tournament is an excellent networking opportunity. You will work in a small team of other undergraduate and graduate students, Maryland high school and middle school teachers and coaches, university faculty, and scientists across the DMV area.
