ASU IBS Study Screener
Carol Johnston, Arizona State University (ASU) Professor, and Aaron Rafferty, an ASU MS student, are conducting a trial to explore the effects of new dietary mobile app on supporting the application of the Low Fermentable, Oligio-, Di-, Mono-saccharide, and Polyols (FODMAP) diet on people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and/or IBS symptoms. We are inviting adults (ages 18-65) with IBS or IBS symptoms such as chronic bloating, constipation, stomach pain, or diarrhea to participate in this online survey that will ask for basic demographic information such as weight, age, race, and ethnicity. This survey will also inquire briefly about medical history, physical activity, gastrointestinal dysfunction, and eating behaviors. It will only take about 5-10 minutes to complete. You have the right not to answer any question, and to stop the survey at any time.
Your participation in this study is voluntary and your name will not be linked to the study data. Participants must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this survey.
