Ending the Mandatory State Bar RSVP
Friday, December 11, 2020 | 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. CT | Zoom
Milwaukee Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society

The U.S. Supreme Court's 2018 landmark decision in Janus v. AFSCME infused new hope in the decades' long effort to end mandatory state bar membership. Though the Supreme Court declined cert. in Jarchow v. Wis. State Bar in June, the fight continues in File v. Brost, currently pending before the 7th Circuit, and other courts across the country.  Daniel Suhr, senior attorney at the Liberty Justice Center and counsel for the plaintiff in File, will provide an update on these important cases and where they fit in the overall scheme of post-Janus litigation.

A Zoom link will be sent the morning of the event to all those who register.
