PREREQUISITE:
This registration form is for JOAD, PARENT, and ADULT archers who have taken and qualified in the Indoor 1: First-time Class, Indoor 2 at 9m, and Indoor 3A at 13.5m.

PLEASE COMPLETE ONE REGISTRATION FORM FOR EACH ARCHER. You can register all semester, as long as there are places left in the class. If there are no spaces left, it will indicate "FULL" for that class on the website calendar.

EQUIPMENT:
We provide all equipment necessary indefinitely at no extra charge. (Recurve bow, 3 arrows, armguard, finger tab, target)
Archers at 18m need their own equipment, if they are thinking of becoming competitive archers and competing in indoor and outdoor tournaments. When you are ready to order your own equipment, we pace and specify what you need and help you order it, so you buy the correct equipment for your strength and experience. Generally, we do not recommend anyone buys equipment before they have been with us for at least 8 hours.

CLASS TIMES and COACHES/INSTRUCTORS:
There are now more days/times available to you as listed below. All classes are coached by Coach Racae.
OPEN PRACTICE with NO coaching is in the indoor range on Fri. 5:00-8:00pm.
MIXED classes are for JOAD/Adult/Parents at all levels and distances
PRIVATE LESSONS are available as listed below. FRI: $25/hr; T/W/Su: $50/hr

If you are at 18m or at 13.5m on periodization, Private Lessons in the central range should be scheduled with Coach Racae at least twice a month on Fridays ($25/hr). When you are in Olympic Path Training (OPT), after turning in five (5) scorecards of 250 pts at 18m and other requirements, the private lessons on Fridays are covered in your monthly fee.

+ Enrollment fee: $20 (always due once per semester)
+ Additional hour(s) ON THE SAME DAY before or after the hour you selected if listed above are at the following reduced fees, provided there are spaces remaining in the class: $10/for each additional hour
+ $15 for up to three hours of Open Practice Sessions on Friday evenings 5:00-8:00.
+ $50/month for TWO private one-hour lessons with Coach Racae during Friday Open Practice. This is a REQUIREMENT for those on periodization, but is included when you are in the Olympic Path Training Program (OPT). You can request another time adjacent to regular class hours, but the fee would then be $50/hr. Schedule the time with Coach Racae.

YOU'LL SHOOT FREE during regular class times at Archery Training Center after:
- you become a full (not probationary) member of OPT*, which has its own fees, or
- when you become a USA Archery certified instructor and actually have a class assigned to you. (You need to be at least 15 years old and an OPT archer.)
- you turn in one round with a min. of 9.5 arrow average at 18m indoors (285 pts) or 9.0 arrow average at your tournament distance outdoors (324 pts). You will continue to shoot free as long as we receive one scorecard witnessed and signed off by others with the above averages every four months.

ENROLLMENT IS ON A FIRST-RECEIVED AND PAID BASIS.
This enrollment form must be completed and your payment received in order for you to be enrolled and a place reserved for you. You can enroll any time during the semester for as many or as few classes as you like as long as there are places open.
So, for example, you can enroll for the entire semester, each month, or sprinkle the days throughout the semester depending on your schedule. (Please bear in mind, however, you'll progress faster with regular attendance.)

DROP INS:
Your name will be on the website calendar under the date and time you registered after we receive your fee in advance of the class. When classes are not full, it's okay to just drop in for the class and pay at that time. When you attend, and the class is near full, you should pay at least one class in advance to guarantee you have a place next time. You can see the actual attendance (including drop-ins) by looking at past classes on the website calendar. If the class is "FULL", it will be so indicated on the calendar.

ATTENDANCE RECOMMENDATIONS (in order to improve over time). Recreational archers have no attendance requirements.

Indoor 3B : Apply for Periodization/Personal Training Program if you want to become a competitive archer

PERSONAL COACHING:
To more carefully and appropriately structure your training, you need to be under the guidance of Coach Racae, who will be responsible for your private lessons, creating a training program with you, and informing you and the other coaches/instructors of what you need to work on each week, so that even when you are in a class coached by another coach there will be close coordination and consistency among the coaches.

PRIVATE LESSONS:
Private lessons are for one hour. They are REQUIRED EVERY TWO WEEKS for archers on Periodization in order to guarantee continued and detailed progress with the positions of the National Training System (NTS). You need to register and pay in advance to secure your appointment. Fee: $25/one-hour private lesson on Fridays or $50/one-hour private lesson at another time adjacent to the regularly scheduled classes. If you prefer the latter, please schedule with Coach Racae.

REFUNDS, CREDITS, and SUBSTITUTIONS:
There are no refunds or credits for paid days missed during the semester, except in the case of injury, long-term illness, unforeseen move out of the Austin area, being expelled for a safety violation or if we cancel a class.

24-HR NOTICE: If you let us know within 24 hours of the class that you will miss the class, you can substitute another class and use your fee as long as there are places left in that class during the semester. If you notify us less than 24 hours in advance of the class that you will need to cancel (except for sudden illness), or you do a "no-show", you'll forfeit your fee.

ILLNESS or INJURY: In the case of physical injury or long-term illness, we require a doctor's note saying that you are unable to practice archery, and then a doctor's note saying that you are again fit to return to archery, before you will be allowed back in class or a refund/credit issued.

Please fill out, sign, and return the 2020 INDOOR 2 PACKET: Medical and Supervision Releases available at the range.

MEMBERSHIP IN USA ARCHERY:
Membership in USA Archery is now REQUIRED to participate in JOAD and Adult Training.
You can attend 2 JOAD classes before joining USAA, but then we'll need to see your membership card BEFORE WE CAN HAND OUT ANY USA ARCHERY STAR PINS to you during Master Challenge Weeks!
Membership in USA Archery is also required before competing in any Texas or National tournaments.

SAFE SPORTS:
PARENTS PLEASE NOTE: We are part of the US Center for Safe Sport program, so we minimally require one other adult besides the instructor to be present at all times. If you are a member of USA Archery, you are eligible to take the training through USA Archery. Adults who have regular contact with amateur athletes who are minors are required to take the training. Please sign in to your USA Archery account to access the training.
If you are not a member of USA Archery, the online training course is 90 minutes long, and costs $20 per person, which you can register for at https://safesport.org/training
