The City of Texas City is hosting "Touch A Truck" on October 21st on 6th Street from 10am-3pm. This event allows children of all ages to touch and explore different types of vehicles. We are currently looking for businesses to bring the "vehicles." It can be any kind of car, truck, crane, tractor, bus or even a TANK! Vehicles need to be parked on 6th street by 9am the morning of October 21st. The volunteers who stay with the vehicle will receive a complementary Touch A Truck shirt and a free lunch. Each business needs to provide their own volunteer to monitor the vehicle. We expect a crowd total of 30,000 and this is a great advertising opportunity so feel free to bring cards, handouts etc.
