Nominees should be exceptionally skilled and dedicated individuals in any regional school, pre-kindergarten through grade 12, who are planning to continue in an active role in education. Nominations should be made without regard to age, sex, race, religion, or educational position. Nominees should have the respect and admiration of students, parents, and co-workers. They should play active and useful roles in their communities as well as in the schools. These individuals often distinguish themselves as leaders. Their most important quality should be their ability to inspire the love of learning in students of all backgrounds and abilities.
It is expected that nominations will be a joint effort of teachers and administrators. A cooperative effort will strengthen this program, which is designed to honor outstanding members of the profession and promote awareness of the quality education being provided in our schools.
**Nominees must be available to attend the banquet to win. This year's banquet will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Boulder Ridge Country Club.
**Significant others, spouses, and self-nominations are not accepted.
