From the Instrumental Music Handbook:

Rehearsal Absences: Absence from a scheduled rehearsal requires submission of the online “Absence Request” no later than 24 hours before the rehearsal. Any absences submitted after this deadline will not be excused. Submission of the form does not guarantee excusal, you will be notified of approval or denial via email.

Performance Absences: Absence from a scheduled performance (football game, competition, parade, etc.) requires submission of the online “Absence Request” no later than 2 weeks before the performance. Absences submitted after this deadline will not be excused. Submission of the form does not guarantee excusal, you will be notified of approval or denial via email.

Unexcused Absences: All absences that do not have the required request will not be excused. Unexcused absences will result in a performance grade of 50% for the 2021-22 school year.

Absences from the following dates will not be excused (except for a death in the family, or major illness/hospitalization.)
