Heilbronn 3-Day Meditation Retreat

Thank you for your interest in the 3-day retreat hosted in Heilbronn. This retreat will be run in English by a team of teaching monks from both the Pa Pae Meditation Retreat and the European centers. 

This first section will provide you with important information regarding the retreat.  

The second section will be dedicated to collecting relevant personal information so that we can accommodate you to the best of our ability.

General Information
12 participants Maximum

Purpose for Heilbronn retreat is to initiate meditation program in Germany from Pa Pae. It would be a great chance to see how benefit of the meditation can be joined in Europe like success of Belgium program in June 2024.

The Teaching Monks for this program will be:

1.    Ven. Pawithai Vajiravijjo
2.    Phra Puttipong Varajoto

The meditation technique that you will learn is called The Middle Way technique, which is a practice for meditators of all levels of experience.

The retreat will focus on meditation instruction and practice (typically 30-40 min sitting sessions), wisdom teachings, and opportunities for Q & A.
Important to Note

Since we are only accepting a maximum of 12 participants for each retreat, please apply in advance to guarantee your spot in the retreat. 

We kindly ask that only those who are committed to participating in the full program apply for this retreat as space is limited.
Arrival to the Center
It’s possible to arrange a free pick up at Heilbronn Railway Station (Heilbronn Hauptbahnhof) to Wat Buddha Heilbronn at 4.30 pm. Please confirm if you prefer this service. 
Confirmation of your stay

You are confirmed upon applying. 

We will send you details within a few weeks of the program on how to make your deposit to confirm your stay and receive additional information regarding the retreat.

Day 4 (15th March)

7:00 - 7:20 - Alms offering to the monks
7:30 - 8:30 - Breakfast

2. To experience The Middle Way Meditation Technique.
3. To understand spiritual foundation of Buddhism.
4. To be able to ask any questions concerning meditation and Buddhism with English-speaking monk.
5. To discover how meditation can be simple and beneficial.
6. To be inspired to apply meditation in daily life.
Accommodation & Food

We expect everyone to stay overnight at the retreat for the best experience. 

You will be provided with 2 meals a day (breakfast and lunch) and some light refreshments in the evening time. This is the eating schedule followed by monks and individuals seeking to deepen their spiritual practice. This type of eating schedule helps support your meditation practice and ability to sleep better and wake up feeling more refreshed.

Costs & Donations

This retreat is funded by participant donations. In order to cover food, utilities, accommodations, supplies, cleaning, and maintenance, the cost per person is:

€150.00 for the program (4 days) Pay up front your arrival

Also, if you are interested in donating a larger amount to pay gratitude to the teaching monks or help support Pa Pae's continued growth, we would be very grateful for your generosity. You will have the chance to offer an additional donation during the closing ceremony. 
What To Bring

In order to maintain an environment of respect for Thai Buddhist culture and mindfulness to allow everyone to focus their energy internally, we ask that you please arrive in appropriate attire that is not too revealing. This means that tank tops, short shorts, or low-cut t-shirts should be avoided. 

Please dress as modestly as possible.
