What is Mini Membership at Easthampton Clay?Mini Membership is a 7 week summer program running from July 1st - August 18th. Mini Membership effectively works as a micro membership package, wherein students have the opportunity to access the studio as a member (24 hours access with independently guided studio time and full access to classroom resources). Mini membership is only open to students who have taken a minimum of 2 classes at EHC (by the time of this program) and who feel confident working independently.
Does Mini Membership impact my consideration for full time membership?
This is a fantastic bridge program for students who are interested in full time membership at EHC, and participants in the mini program will be considered for full time membership following the summer program if already on the waitlist. While students who do not participate in Mini Membership are not faulted for full time consideration, our teachers and leadership team will have more information to gauge eligibility for those who do participate. We will be making note of adherence to the Mini Membership handbook and studio rules during the program.
What's included?
For $450, Mini Members will have 7 weeks of full time (24/7) access to our studio space and classroom resources (tools, slips, bats, molds, wheels, slab rollers, extruders, glazes, etc.!), as well as their own shelf for the duration of the program, and two bins. They will have access to additional resources via Slack, and each Mini Member will receive a bag of clay (of their choice) included with their program. Mini members can use up to 6 bags for the duration of their summer.
