How much pressure do you write with?
Light - Pen writes at or near using it's own weight - similar to a paint brush - (This is the designed and ideal pressure for a fountain pen)
Medium - Similar to a marker or rollerball
Heavy - Similar to ballpoint on carbon copy paper, leaving imprint as well as ink on paper
This is how I define wetness, so please mark accordingly. 1. means the pen will not write without pressure, 5. means the pen will leave a line with no pressure, 7 means the pen will have some flowback in the line (shading) 10 means the pen lays down a lot of ink and will flowback the entire line. (please note that there is a limit to how dry or wet each pen can be adjusted and the desired wetness may not be possible on all pens)
5- Dry writer
7 - Well tuned factory
10 - Very wet
