It will be a social surfing competition held bi-monthly based in the Byron area. With the help of the members we will plan 1 away weekend event per year. Surf club will also include one major event per year with prize money and international competitors. Our first event is scheduled for Sunday the 17th of march 2019, daytime surf competition, followed by drinks, food, tunes an art exhibition by Robin Falxa and screening of the new Wild Things surf movie “Sun Damage”.
We will also be doing gold coin donations at each event’s BBQ to help raise money for Dune Care, to help restore dunes around Byron Bay.
CLUB INFORMATION 6 club events per year with a final 7th MAJOR event to be held annually in March.1 event will potentially be an away event, Camping, mobile comp.Meetings will be on a sunday every second month$70 membership gets you entry into all comps and a Surf Club tee.
