The Neuroscience of Exercise and Public Dance
with Dr. Wendy Suzuki
presented by Don’t You Feel It Too?

Wednesday, May 9, 2018
Location: Barbara Barker Center for Dance, 500 21st Avenue South Minneapolis, MN, 55454

What happens in our brains and bodies when we exercise and dance? Dr. Suzuki shares with us her work on how aerobic exercise can improve learning, memory, and higher cognitive abilities. She will offer her first impression of the mind-body practice Don’t You Feel It Too? and theorize what may be the benefits of this practice for a happier life.

The workshop is participatory and will begin with a DYFIT session outdoors. Everyone is welcome.

FREE, plus suggested donation.
