This form is necessary to become an official member of CodeForNashville.org.

Membership gives you the following privileges:
- voting rights (on elected positions, initiatives, policies, etc)
- other opportunities to provide feedback and influence leadership
- recognition (on LinkedIn etc)

The only* thing required for membership is that you make some sort of time commitment of your own design (more below). On the other hand, membership is not required to make a contribution of time nor will failing to complete a commitment revoke your membership (it's the thought that counts).

You can lose positions or even membership if you violate our Code of Conduct (http://www.codefornashville.org/code-of-conduct/) or otherwise abuse the people or opportunities that come with being part of Code for Nashville.
 
Membership will also be taken into consideration if we ever have capacity to share grant or stipend money. However, it is not a guarantee of priority over non-members.

*There are NO monetary membership dues or required donations. On the other hand, we recognize that transportation to our events costs money. If that, accessibility, or anything else about our events is ever a burden or blocker, please let us know.
