Check people in for classes
Host parties, game nights, potluck meals, and general events that help humans bond

Onboarding/Membership
Give mini-tours of the makerspace
Improve processes for getting new members on board

New Building Committee
Define requirements for possible new building in the next 2-5 years
Explore and propose options for future facilities

Showroom
Be the bridge between the maker and artist community
Help MakeICT members show off what they've made
Bring in art to inspire makers and visitors

Fundraising
Pursue grant and fundraising opportunities
Work with communications to make sure donation opportunities are well-publicized

Outreach/Education/Academy
Work on developing our educational goals into a full-fledged program
Represent MakeICT at special educational events (Riverfest, Engineering Expo)
Come up with activities or classes we could offer for school, teachers, or community groups
Expose non-makers of all ages to the world of making

Communications
Gather stories about our coolest tools, events, programs and makers
Distribute needed information to our members
Make sure we are represented across social media platforms
Create signs, flyers, and brochures for marketing

Special projects
Organize fun things for us to do together (electric bus, power wheels racing, robot sumo)

Decluttering committee
Arrange and organize areas as needed so we all get the most out of our space
Facilitate the sale of items that we don't need anymore using online marketplaces (craigslist, facebook)
Help with cleaning, decluttering, and anti-hoarding efforts

Keep our computers, websites, network and IT infrastructure running smoothly
