🌟 Dreamsickle Kids Foundation Volunteer Sign-Up 🌟

Thank you for your interest in supporting Dreamsickle Kids Foundation—Nevada’s first and only sickle cell disease nonprofit! We are always looking for passionate, reliable volunteers to help us expand our impact in the community.

Volunteers can assist with:

  • Clerical and administrative tasks

  • Event planning and setup

  • Fundraising efforts

  • Outreach and advocacy

  • Social media and creative projects

  • And any other skills or talents you bring to the table!

We welcome students seeking service hours and individuals needing to complete community service for traffic or criminal court-related obligations. Volunteers receive verification of hours upon request.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children and families impacted by sickle cell disease.

Dreamsickle Kids Foundation Volunteer Release of Liability Agreement

This Volunteer Release of Liability Agreement ("Agreement") is made between Dreamsickle Kids Foundation ("Foundation") and the undersigned volunteer ("Volunteer").

1. Volunteer Services: The Volunteer agrees to provide services for the Foundation on a volunteer basis. The Volunteer understands that the services provided are a benefit to the community and not compensated.

2. Assumption of Risk: The Volunteer acknowledges and agrees that the volunteer activities involve certain inherent risks and that they voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage, or personal injury, including death, that may be sustained by the Volunteer as a result of participating in volunteer activities.

3. Release of Liability: The Volunteer releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue the Foundation, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the Volunteer while participating in volunteer activities or while on the premises where volunteer activities are conducted.

4. Indemnification: The Volunteer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Foundation from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorneys' fees, that the Foundation may incur due to the Volunteer’s participation in volunteer activities.

5. Medical Treatment: The Volunteer releases and discharges the Foundation from any claim that arises or may arise due to any first aid, treatment, or service rendered in connection with the Volunteer’s participation in volunteer activities.

6. Media Release: The Volunteer grants permission to the Foundation to use their likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media ("Photo") in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. The Volunteer understands and agrees that all Photos will become the property of the Foundation and will not be returned.

7. Confidentiality: The Volunteer agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or confidential information to which they may be exposed while serving as a volunteer.

8. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the Foundation is located, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

9. Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous understandings, whether written or oral.
