Friends of Oxbow Board of Directors Application
Friends of Oxbow is a 501(c)3 organization supporting the goals of Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo since 1980. The Board of Directors is currently seeking applicants to increase our ability to host events, fundraise, and expand the profile of Friends of Oxbow in supporting the mission of Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo. 

Important Information:
  • Board Members serve 2 year terms
  • Board Members must be 21 years old 
  • Monthly meetings occur on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30pm - attendance is expected
  • Board Members typically spend up to 4-6 hours per month on Friends of Oxbow tasks (includes meetings)
  • Board Members should be proficient in use of Google Drive and/or Microsoft 365 Suite. 
Prospective board members will be invited to a future Board of Directors meeting prior to an official vote by the current board. Qualifying prospective board members will be contacted for a brief interview and must be willing to complete a background check if requested.
