Participation in the production is not mandatory and is separate from the Elementary Dance program. It is up to the discretion of the student and their family whether the production is something they would like to be a part of.  

To participate in the production the student is required to enroll in and attend the after school elementary dance program classes.  Rehearsals for the production may be held separately from the after school program dance classes.

*5th grade will rehearse with Ms. Wilhoite on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00 during their regularly scheduled class. Rehearsals begin Wednesday, January 19th.

*6th grade will rehearse with Ms. Turner on Fridays from 4:00-5:00. Rehearsals begin Friday, January 21st.

If the student wishes to perform in the production, they must submit this form by MONDAY, JANUARY 10TH. Due to casting necessities, late registration will NOT be accepted.

By signing this form I acknowledge that my child’s participation in the production is a commitment for both my child and my family.

I agree that my child will attend all of their assigned rehearsals and will not schedule any appointments, family outings or other conflicts during their rehearsals and will not expect nor ask for exceptions.

If my child is ill and unable to attend rehearsal, I will notify Ms. Wilhoite (5th Grade) or Ms. Turner (6th Grade) by email the morning of the day of their rehearsal or as soon as possible if my child is sent home sick from school.

Lastly, I understand that should my child miss rehearsals it is possible they will not be able to participate in the production.

Please note that the rehearsal schedule for this production is created for the entire rehearsal period in order to help you plan your calendar of family events so that you do not schedule doctor’s appointments, tutoring sessions, family dinners, travel etc. during a rehearsal.
