  • Should my application for membership of the Protea Sports Club be approved, I undertake to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations and Constitution of the Club
  • I undertake to notify the Club immediately of any changes of address or other information provided above
  • I further acknowledge that this application pertains only to myself, and will not allow any other person to make use of Club facilities without the payment of the required Visitor's fee and that transgression of this rule will lead to my membership being suspended.
  • I understand that my Club membership will be suspended if membership fees are not paid within 30 days of the due date (1 April of each year), and that I will then be liable for the payment of a Visitors fee every time I use the facility.
  • I am aware of the aims of the club and the fees payable
  • I will also familiarize with the rules of my sport of choice as well as the National / International code of conduct of the sport.
  • I am aware of, and accept the waiver of indemnity as set out below 
INDEMNITY
I hereby irrevocably waive all claims against the Protea Sports Club for any damage or loss suffered as a consequence of my being a member of the Protea Sports Club and arising out of (a) Death, bodily injury, loss of health or illness to me or any person and (b) loss or destruction to any property belonging to me or any other person however such loss or damage is caused, but not limited through the negligence of any such official, employee or representative of the Protea Sports Club without derogating from the generality of the foregoing. I particularly indemnify and hold harmless the Protea Sports Club against all claims which may be made against it by me or my dependents or any one or more of them will specifically re-iterate that this indemnity shall be binding on my heirs, executors and assigns.

  • Prerequisite: Is a full member for another table tennis club and competes in the 2024 CTTT League for said club.
These fees are applicable for 2024. The fee structure for all sporting codes in Protea Sports Club will be re-evaluated at AGM.
