West Virginia Rivers Coalition's Rivers Celebration
On Saturday, July 17, West Virginia Rivers Coalition will be holding a Rivers Celebration in Tucker County, WV along the Black Fork of the Cheat River. It's been quite a while since we've been able to gather supporters of our exceptional rivers and streams and so we're excited to do so in one of the most beautiful places we know!

We hope you'll join us for an amazing day -and evening - of outdoor activities, meeting new people and catching up with longtime friends, and celebrating our wild and wonderful rivers and streams.

Please register below for our outdoor and educational activities so we can better plan for the event.

Lodging is available at local campgrounds and AirBnB's (hurry, we hear spaces are filling up fast).

Once the day is done, we'll have an AfterParty with the Chaga Tea Project (www.facebook.com/chagateaproject), food and drink. Adult tickets are $40, kids age 10-15 are $15, kids under 10 are FREE - this will include a delicious Mediterranean meal from White Grass and 2 drinks. To secure your ticket, go to https://co.clickandpledge.com/advanced/default.aspx?wid=78876

We're excited to see you down by the river!

11am: Our Wonderful Mon Listening Session
The Monongahela National Forest is the crown jewel of West Virginia’s public lands. It is home to the headwaters of six major river systems and provides endless opportunities for recreation. Throughout 2021, WV Rivers’ wants to hear from folks about how they recreate within the Mon Forest. We’re holding informal listening sessions where visitors, residents, and tourists can share their experiences recreating in the forest. So far we’ve heard from boaters and cyclists, and are planning sessions for sportspeople, hikers, and folks that work in the forest. We'd love to hear from you!
