The Dream Project is dedicated to empowering young adults to become leaders within their communities through service and civic engagement. The Dream Project encourages those between the ages of 18-25 to think creatively and plan adventure-based fundraising initiatives to support the mission of charitable organizations.
We accept any rider between the ages of 18 through 25 at the start of the summer. In 2019, you’re eligible to ride if you were born between May 1, 1994 to May 1, 2001.
Each accepted applicant is expected to raise a minimum of $3,500 prior to departure on the summer rides. Riders will receive a comprehensive trip and fundraising guide upon acceptance to aid them in their training and fundraising efforts. All participants are required to raise the fundraising minimum. If a participant has not raised the money by the final deadline, they will not be able to ride with the group until The Dream Project has received the balance. If a participant chooses to drop out of the program or fails to raise the fundraising minimum, they will donate any raised funds to The Dream Project.
Beyond this application, we'll need from you:
1. Your personal bio and photo for your fundraising page 2. A $100 application fee that will kickstart your fundraising3. A signed trip guide agreement and liability waiver4. Medical history (plus you will eventually need to provide health insurance verification and a medical examination)
