NCSM Flanagan Grant 2024
Dr. Stuart Flanagan has graciously provided funding to further the leadership of mathematics education in Virginia. This funding is partially dedicated to growing the mathematics leaders of Virginia by extending their learning via a national platform. This grant will allow a VCMS member to the NCSM Conference each fall.

  • Applicants must have been a member of VCMS for at least 3 years.
  • One grant is available in the amount of $2,000.00. 
  • The funding for this grant will be used toward registration, hotel accommodation, mileage, and meals.
  • The application will close on May 31, 2024.
  • Applications will be reviewed by and the grant awarded by the VCMS Board and Regional Representatives.
  • The awardee will be notified via email.
  • The awardee will be expected to share their learning at the Fall VCMS Conference. Awardees will work with the VCMS President to determine length and day of presentation.
