Intersectional Approaches to Injury and Violence Prevention in a Post-COVID World
Join us to learn about writing up your study findings and strategies for disseminating your research to various audiences with Dr. Carol Runyan. Dr. Runyan, former IPRC Director, will also address navigating the publishing process and explore challenges and strategies in working across academic public health research and practice communities.

Dr. Carol Runyan is a part-time Professor at the Colorado School of Public Health where she is the Founding Director of the Program for Injury Prevention, Education and Research. She now resides in North Carolina where she is Professor Emeritus at UNC’s Gillings School of Public Health where she taught for most of her career and developed and directed the UNC Injury Prevention Research Center for more than two decades.  Her training is in public health education, epidemiology, and social policy.
