Mountain Events Schools League 2020
The annual Mountain Events Schools League runs from January - December
Any event organised, managed or timed by Mountain Events will form part of the series.
The following events are currently included:
Herald Cycle Tour MTB Race - 16 February 2020
Bay by Bike MTB Race - 5 April 2020
J-Bay Windfarm MTB Classic - 13 June 2020
Grahamstown to Sea - 19 July 2020
Hayterdale Classic - 22 August 2020
SAICA PEDA MTB Family Fun Day - 30 August 2020
Angora MTB Classic - 5 September 2020
Baakens Bash - 13 September 2020
Steytlerville Cycling Bazaar - 3 October 2020
Cyclo Pro Fat Tracks Longmore Classic - 6 December 2020
In order to earn points for your school you need to be registered for the Mountain Events Schools League before the event takes place.
Points will be awarded after the event and coaches will be notified of the results.
The results will also be posted on Mountain Events' Facebook page.
The winning school will be recognised at the end of the year as well as on social media.

Age Category Distance Restrictions
Cycling SA enforces minimum age restrictions based on race distances for all sanctioned MTB events.
To avoid disappointment at registration, please only select a race distance that you are allowed to participate in.
Your age is based on the age you will be on 31 December of that year.
0-10km - 7 years+
0-25km - 8 years+
0-35km - 13 years+
0-60km - 15 years +
0-80km - 19 years +
