TCOE Tech Rodeo Student Poster Session Proposal 2019
Tulare County Office of Education thanks you for your interest in applying to participate in a Student-Led Poster Session for our 2019 Tech Rodeo, a dynamic EdTech learning event for educators of all skill levels. Tech Rodeo will take place at Orosi High School in Orosi, California. Poster sessions will occur between 11:50 am and 1:10 pm. Speakers and their coach will receive complimentary registration to the event, which will occur on Saturday, January 19, 2019.

Visit our event website for more information about Tech Rodeo.

We invite you to apply to present an interactive poster session that teaches educators how to integrate technology into their instruction. In contrast to a formal presentation, an interactive poster session is much more informal. Educators may approach you with questions regarding your topic, and your job is to teach them practical ways of leveling up technology use in their classroom.

If requested, you will be provided with an LCD projector and/or TV on which you may choose to project resources to help drive the discussion. Examples of interactive poster sessions could include but are not limited to: More Than Cat Videos - Using YouTube for Learning, Google Keep to Keeps Kids from Forgetting Homework.

To apply for a student-led poster session for Tech Rodeo, submit a 1 minute video explaining your topic idea and plans to prepare for the event. (Practice possible questions and your answers with teachers and other students at your school site prior to Tech Rodeo.)
